The Sacramento Public Library invites you to ride on over to Rio Linda Library any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and be one of the first to hitch your horse to the new hitching post.
The Library will be open and there will be refreshments for you and apples for your horses. Every time a rider hitches a horse to the post, a little cowgirl or cowboy will receive a free cowboy hat and a homemade Rio Linda bandanna.
Help us “kick off” Summer Reading in friendly Rio Linda, where folks love to meet at the Library, and horses are people, too. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Rio Linda Library, who invite horsemen and women to choose a free book from the used book sale area.
