The Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation made its All-Sac-Joaquin Section football picks for the 2018 season with Rio Linda talent picking up some prominent positions.
Foothill Valley League Most Valuable Player Cameron Skattebo was also named the Section’s Offensive MVP. He was one of just nine players in the country to rush for over 3,000 yards this season. Only a junior, Skattebo led Rio Linda to the schools first ever state championship.
Rio Linda’s Nicolas Salaices (honorable mention offensive line) and Abraham Banks (honorable mention all-purpose) were also honored.
