An informational meeting is set for March 28th to launch the North Sacramento Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART).
HART is a network of nonprofits dedicated to organizing passionate individuals in support of the local homeless population. Individuals, churches, small businesses, and partner agencies come together to collect resources for the homeless in our individual communities like Elk Grove, Carmichael, and Citrus Heights.
North Sacramento HART will focus on the homeless in, Del Paso Heights, Rio Linda, Elverta, North Highlands, Antelope, and Natomas.
Today, there are 8 HART groups in existence; Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Carmichael, Arden Arcade, North Sacramento, and South Sacramento. Each one of these HART groups is an independent organization working to identify local issues related to homelessness, while also proposing solutions and acting as medium for community members to give back, and fight for the local vulnerable population.
North Sacramento HART is hosting an informational meeting on March 28, 2019 at 6:30pm at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1951 North Avenue near the intersection of North and Pinell in Del Paso Heights.
Refreshments Will Be Served.
Please bring your ideas and organization and be a part of this opportunity to give essential and compassionate service to the North Sacramento Homeless Community.
