The Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter’s non-profit partner, TEAM (Teaching Everyone Animals Matter), will present the Small Town, Big Hearts benefit on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at Safetyville USA, 3909 Bradshaw Road. The fundraiser benefits the shelter’s animals, including treatment for special medical needs for animals, medications, medical equipment, activities that improve the comfort of the shelter animals, volunteer activities and more.
“The Bradshaw Shelter is extremely thankful for TEAM and their continued support,” said Dave Dickinson, Director, Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter. “Without the funds raised at these types of events, we would not be able to provide some of the specialty surgeries some of our injured stray animals need prior to placing them into forever homes. We are looking forward to a large turnout for this event and there should be something fun for all who attend and all those interested in helping animals.” Event adult admission includes entrance into Safetyville USA, a meal from one of two delicious food trucks, two beverage tickets (redeemable towards beer, wine or soft drink). Children’s admission includes face painting, snow cones, and make & take craft!
There will be activities and fun for the whole family including:
- Food trucks
- Classic cars from Family First Car & Bike Club
- Beer from Lagunitas, River City Brewing Company and Bike Dog, and a selection of wine
- Food from two delicious SactoMoFo food trucks
- Raffle prizes for all ages
- Adorable dog parade and photo booth
- Crafts, face painting and more!
Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for children (4-12 years old) and children years 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online and at the door. However, ticket prices increase by $5 at the door, so purchase your tickets in advance. For more information, check out the event webpage.
