The Sacramento County Department of Public Health reported again today that COVID19 cases in the 95673 and 95626 zip codes have increased for the 7-day period ending January 18, 2021. Unfortunately, new positives continue to increase after a week of abating, while 30-day trends ease off for Rio Linda, and not so much for Elverta.
Rio Linda is reporting 807 cases, up from 742 last week, an increase of 65 cases. However, the 30-day trend is down; In the last 30 days, Rio Linda has reported 220 new covid cases, down from 228 last week.
Elverta is reporting 259 cases, up from 229 from the last week of December. Unlike Rio Linda, the 30 trend is increasing, showing 86 cases over the last 30 days, up from 75 just last week.
Sacramento County has seen 81,132 cases since March of 2020.
