Today the District sent word that there is a vacancy available on the RLERPD board.
The current board is looking to appoint a new director who will serve until December 1, 2022 unless elected at the November 8, 2022 general election to serve a two-year term.
If this is an opportunity you want to take advantage of, you are asked to submit a statement of qualifications and the reasons you wish to be appointed to the Board.
Participation in Board Training and Community Relations through programs offered by the California Special District Association and the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts is offered to all Board Directors.
In order to be considered for appointment, you must be registered to vote within the District.

This district has 60 days from the date the board is notified of the vacancy or the effective date of the vacancy, whichever is later, to fill the vacancy by appointment or call a special election.
Gov Code § 1780: Pursuant to Government Code 1780, this notice will be posted for 15 days in 3 or more conspicuous locations in the district from April 20, 2022 to May 12, 2022.
