Lunch at the Library will be available at 15 locations starting June 13
Beginning June 13, Sacramento Public Library (SPL) will provide free lunch to children 18 and under while school is out through August 4.
Meals will be distributed at 13 library locations Tuesdays through Fridays from Noon to 1 p.m. Meal sites are available at the following library locations: Arcade, Colonial Heights, Del Paso Heights, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks, Martin Luther King, Jr., North Highlands-Antelope, North Sacramento-Hagginwood, Rancho Cordova, Rio Linda, Southgate, Sylvan Oaks, and Valley Hi-North Laguna.
Last summer, the Library served lunch to 7,966 kids throughout Sacramento County.
Lunch at the Library is provided in partnership with Elk Grove Unified School District and Natomas Unified School District. The Summer Food Service Program is a program of the U. S. Department of Agriculture, administered in California by the California Department of Education. Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library in partnership with the California Library Association and supported with funds from the State of California.
