Come decorate and release a paper lantern this weekend at Gibson Ranch Regional Park in Elverta.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Lantern designing starts at 8 p.m. with lanterns launched 8:30-10 p.m.
An adult ticket includes access to food trucks, a floating lantern kit, an LED candle, a commemorative drawstring bag, conversation cards, playing cards, a marker and covers the cost for staff to retrieve the lantern and clean up the area after the event.
