Now, I never really understood football without the helmets and pads, but I have a high degree of respect for the fellas that want to go do that kind of thing. Football is a game of forward passing, where rugby is a game of laterals. It’s kind of like curling… you don’t quite understand it, but it’s interesting and you can’t stop watching it!
With that, these young men deserve all the support we can throw their way.
The high school’s rugby coach dropped me a note to let me know about the crab feed they’ll be having this weekend.
The Crab feed will be held Saturday, December 4th. at the Rio Linda Moose Lodge, 6003 Rio Linda Blvd.
The event starts at 6:00pm and goes to 10:30pm. Tickets are $40 each.
Of course, all-you-can-eat crab is on the menu, but Bread, Salad and Pasta are also available.
