The County of Sacramento and SACOG are holding a free workshop for business and business property owners on Monday, October 30th. Supervisor Frost would like to invite stakeholders to participate in a Walking Tour of some of the downtown area of Rio Linda prior to the workshop from 10:00am to 11:00am with Michele E. Reeves, economic strategist, as well as county staff. This will give Michele a chance to hear from the involved stakeholders in the community about what you would like to see in the downtown area.
The flyer on the right has been mailed out to all the businesses in Rio Linda for more information about the workshop that starts at 11:30am. Though Michele E. Reeves would like to keep the 10am walking tour a smaller group, 10-15 people, she didn’t want us to leave anyone out. If you can’t make it, that’s fine, but if you are planning on attending the walking tour at 10am, please RSVP back to me, so that I can be sure to update you with any information you may need prior to the workshop and that I have a headcount of who will be attending.
The free workshop for business owners and business property owners will be held at the Visitor’s Depot Center at 6730 Front Street, starting at 11:30am for the business owner portion. We definitely want you to stay and participate in the workshop as well following the short walking tour.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Tina Barclay at 916-874-5491.
Please remember to RSVP if you plan to attend the walking tour and/or the workshop.
