The Marysville and Rio Linda Boulevard intersection could look very different shortly if a proposed apartment development is approved by the City of Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the property at 5240 Rio Linda Boulevard (Near Robla Elementary School) could see a three-story project of 39 market-rate apartments completed in the future. The project would be named “Robla Apartments”.
Swift Developments of Granite Bay, functioning as 5240 Rio Linda LLC, is the project developer.
The apartments would be on the southernmost of two parcels at that address. All apartments would range from 692 to 884 sq. ft. and all would have two bedrooms, ranging from 692 to 884 square feet. Amenities would include a clubroom on the first floor and covered parking.
The property is zoned for commercial use, but the irregular shape makes apartments the most suitable project for it.
Once construction begins, completion should take about a year. There was no estimate on project cost.
