Get ready for a month filled with learning, creativity, and community fun at the Rio Linda Library! Whether you’re a kid, teen, or adult, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Mark your calendars for these exciting events:
For the Little Ones (Kids Programs):
- Explore and Learn (Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m.): Bring your young children (ages 0-5) to explore, learn, and play in a fun and engaging environment. It’s a great opportunity for them to socialize and for caregivers to connect with each other.
- STEAM: Build with LEGO® (Saturday, April 5, 2:00-3:00 p.m. & Thursday, April 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m.): Unleash your child’s inner engineer with LEGO® bricks! This program offers two sessions for different age groups (Duplo blocks for younger kids, regular LEGOs for ages 5-12). It’s a fantastic way to foster creativity and problem-solving skills.
For Teens (Teen Programs):
- Planner Club (2nd Saturday, April 12, 10:00-11:30 a.m.): Take some time for yourself! Join other teens to focus on your planner, create to-do lists, and enjoy journaling and art activities.
- Teen Space (2nd Wednesday, April 9, 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 4th Wednesday, April 23, 2:00-4:00 p.m.): Hang out in the teen room and enjoy snacks, games, crafts, books, and other fun activities. It’s a great place to relax, socialize, and have fun!
For Adults (Adult Programs):
- Planner Club (2nd Saturday, April 12, 10:00-11:30 a.m.): Just like the teen program, adults can also take time to focus on themselves and their planners. No registration is required.
- Adult Space: Embroidery (4th Saturday, April 26, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.): Learn the basics of embroidery and create a simple project. No prior experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Seating is limited, so arrive early!
