Come participate in the 1860’s: tour Civilian, Yankee
and Confederate Camps, enjoy music, food, battle re-enactments
(complete with cannon fire), interact with living history
representatives.

Friday May, 18th is our School Program which includes 90 minutes of first person commentary from our NCWA volunteer re-enactors. There is no better way to excite students about history than letting them live it.
Students rotate through five informational stations that may include artillery, medical, infantry, generals, civilian or cavalry.
Reservation times are: 9:30 or 11:00-Due to demand we have added a 12:30 reservation
Program open to fifth grade through high school.

Registration beginning January 1, 2012. This program is limited to one date per year only therefore, it will fill quickly on a first come first served basis. We still have a few reservations available-call now.
*Please do not make a reservation for more students than are going to be attending. Also, please be sure to have transportation for your group available before making a reservation.

This year’s events include:
· A Civil War Clothing Demonstration
· A Horsemanship Demonstration
· FREE Guided Camp Tours
· A May Day Celebration
· A “Searching for the Dead” Scenario
Walk through living history camps and talk to re-enactors true to the period of the 1860’s.
Buy a hoop skirt and some lemonade and sit back and watch the cannons fire back and forth. Fun and learning for the whole family!
