After months of planning and preparation, the County Clerk/Recorder (CCR) Department is making its final moves to consolidate and relocate two of its existing offices.
On Friday, December 1, CCR’s downtown office, located at 600 8th Street in Sacramento, will officially close its office doors. Then on Monday, December 4, CCR will fully open it’s new 26,952 square foot central office located at 3636 American River Drive in the unincorporated part of the County. This location will serve residents from their former East Area Service Center location (5229 Hazel Avenue, Fair Oaks) and downtown office (600 8th Street, Sacramento).
“This move represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to better serve the community,” said Donna Allred, Sacramento County Clerk/Recorder. “With this new space, we will have the opportunity to streamline our processes and create a more efficient and effective operation overall. We look forward to welcoming our customers to our new facility and continuing to provide the high level of service that they have come to expect from us.”
Those looking for in-person services could also visit the South Area Service Center at 8239 E. Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.
