Jackie Andrews, who is leading the effort to re-open the closed Locust Road has planned two community meetings to discuss the issues surrounding the closure.
She has reserved the community room at Sac Metro Fire Station #111 for Thursday, October 27th AND Thursday November 3rd. The meetings will begin at 6:30 both days.
This will allow for two meetings before the next Placer County MAC meeting to discuss the concerns of the community and will give them an opportunity to engage as many concerned community members as possible.
If you would be willing to help distribute flyers, please contact Jackie Andrews. Included will be residents along Pleasant Grove Rd and the Rancho Elverta community in this outreach.
The meeting focus will be on the road closure impact but that doesn’t mean other issues will not be addressed. The goal is to solidify the position of the group in a purposeful and professional manner in order to address the Board of Supervisors.
