Panhandle 105 is the name of a new proposal that could add many new homes in the panhandle area, a previously Rio Linda attached property recently annexed by the City of Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, MLC Holdings Inc. has submitted an application for 443 single-family homes along Sorento Road.
The Panhandle 105 project is located in the northern section of the area, just south of the existing, abandoned Twin Rivers school site, with a recently approved subdivision of 158 single-family homes to the south. The project will account for 106 of the 590 total acres in the panhandle.
Plans accompanying the application show homes which range in square footage from 1,600 to 3,250 square feet.
