Lew’s Club (Iris’s Place) in Rio Linda, CA 95673 located at 6734 Rio Linda Blvd. is holding a drive for the troops. Iris is a long time member of Rio Linda and is collecting bags of non-perishable beef jerky, or anything non-perishable, to send to the boys/girls, men and women fighting for our country over seas. The drive is something that Iris has been doing alone, and we now need everyones help to help her/us, and this community do our part in helping provide our troops a little taste of home. Please contact Iris or any bartender located at the above listed address for donation items. The first shipment is to be going out on Tues., but collections are always being taken for our troops as when enough donations received, they are sent out. All donations welcome. Thank you.
