We’ve all been waiting for a business owner to take over the old 1-4-5 property and do something really spectacular with it… something the entire community can enjoy. It’s been a long time coming but the wait is over.
After a soft opening a few weeks ago, the “Rio Pub” will be having their grand opening on Saturday, July 23rd at 6pm.
I spoke with the owner’s daughter Vanessa this week, and let me tell you, her British accent was wonderful, and charmed me right out of my socks. Such a lovely, pleasant woman to speak to, who had nothing but wonderful things to say about her time in our community.
The renovation is nothing short of astounding. It’s an absolutely perfect British pub in the middle of the Downtown Rio Linda business district. Please, look at the pictures and judge for yourself, and I’ll see you there on Saturday.
