Rio Linda, CA (October 31, 2024): SAFE Credit Union is seeking applications from Sacramento-area non-profit organizations for a $20,000 grant. The chosen organization will demonstrate a strong commitment to one of SAFE’s four core philanthropic pillars:
- Affordable Housing: Programs that create or support affordable housing, or provide services to residents of affordable housing to enhance their financial stability.
- Financial Literacy & Stability: Programs that empower individuals of all ages, from children to adults, with the knowledge and skills for healthy financial habits.
- Youth/Young Adult Education: Non-profits working to ensure equitable access to educational opportunities for underserved youth and young adults.
- Workforce Development: Programs that equip individuals with the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market.
“We’re proud to support a variety of excellent non-profits working in these critical areas,” says Rebecca Delmundo, SAFE Credit Union Vice President of Community Relations and Financial Education. “This grant will empower an organization to further its mission and make a real difference in our community.”
Application Process & Public Vote:
Non-profit organizations can submit applications online at safecu.org by November 15, 2024.
