You might have noticed, it’s been pretty slow here in RioLindaOnline-land.
Actually, a few things are going on behind the scenes;
- The whole family’s been suffering from this miserable 3-week cold that’s been going around. I’ve been in bed for the better part of the last 2 weeks, and even went to the hospital once. It’s a miserable, horrible illness, and I hope none of my fair readers is suffering from this malady as well.
- Even the website got sick. Near the end of March, there was a widespread malware attack that infected thousands of web sites. Rio Linda online was one that was infected. To make sure it doesn’t happen again, I contracted with Securi web security who cleaned the site, and are now monitoring the site for intrusions 24/7.
- Part of the malware/virus problem is that it attacked or affected the layout and design. Ultimately, it’s fine… the old layout and design isn’t working for me any more. SO… over the next couple of weeks I’ll be trying on some new clothes for the site. Things may look different, but it’s all the same, trust me.
In the meantime… be sure to follow RioLindaOnline on Facebook. I often post small things there that don’t make it over here.
So, fear not, readers of Rio Linda… I’ll be coming on strong real soon now. I just have to get my house back in order.
