Artist Doreen Irwin is inviting the community to her “Art in the Barn” show, at Shandoni Ranch in Elverta.
On Saturday April 13th through Monday April 15th, Ms. Irwin will welcome art and horse lovers into her barn to view her art, and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres.
Doreen Irwin has a professional background in illustration and has been painting horses for many years. She has exhibited several of these pieces and other works at her own Shandoni Ranch, where she raises and trains horses. She also enjoys painting other animals and portraits of people.
Doreen has had her works exhibited several times at the California State Fair, The Horse Expo in Sacramento, CA, the Draft Horse Classic in Grass Valley, CA, the Hubbard Museum of the Horse in Ruidoso Downs, NM, and at varied art galleries throughout California.
