Being the father of a 14 year old boy, with the mental capacity of a 6 year old, this hits close to home.
SACRAMENTO, CA — Twin Rivers police are searching for a missing at-risk 14-year-old girl.
According to Twin Rivers police, Brittany Adame was last seen leaving Monday morning for school, but was not present for any classes.
Adame is a special education student at Rio Linda High School, according to Officer William Cho.
Cho said even though Adame is 14, she has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old and has no history of running away.
Adame is 5 ft. 3 inches tall with a thin build 120 pounds, has light brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink and black checkered jacket with a pink fur hood, blue jeans and white Air Jordan shoes.
Officers are following up on leads. Anyone with information about Adame’s whereabouts is urged to call the Twin Rivers Police Department at (916) 286-4875.
