Sacramento Public Library is inviting local veterans to come to Rio Linda Library to access the benefits that they earned while serving.
On Tuesday, Sept. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. Library representatives will host the first “pop-up” Veterans Resource Station to help connect veterans and their families to the benefits and resources that they need to thrive — including but not limited to transitioning from military to civilian life, finding jobs, surviving change, and managing post-traumatic stress disorders.
Veterans Resource Stations are not new to Sacramento Public Library. In recent years, it has opened stations at its Central, Rancho Cordova and Southgate locations. The next phase of the offering is to reach additional communities throughout the Sacramento region with pop-up stations.

The Veterans Resource Stations at Sacramento Public Library are made possible through Veterans Connect at the Library, a Library and Services & Technology Act (LSTA) Grant.
